Rain of Missiles (A piece written in dedication to the people of Gaza, Palestine)
Rain of Missiles Night descends upon the chest of the city, a darkness named despair; The concrete roads vanish under the veil of shadow. Clouds weigh heavy in the sky, and within the silence I hear echoes of destruction; From that heavy sky, a rain of missiles begins to fall—suddenly, the earthc trembles. Silence shatters with the echoes of devastation, crumbling the wall of stillness; In every ruin, fear peeks through the shattered minds. The cries of the living, the flow of blood—nothing can resist the rain of missiles. Behind humanity hides the face of a savage hyena— Unheard go the child’s cries, the mother’s wails; Mountains, rivers, cities—all fall into a haunting silence. Raindrops once meant for green now turn into shades of black; Towering concrete structures collapse in heaps of dust.
